With over 18 years of experience in the operations and maintenance (O&M) sector, I specialise in low voltage (LV) to high voltage (HV) operations, particularly in the maintenance of insulated switchgear and transformers. My career trajectory includes roles as a high voltage (HV) fitter and a Senior Authorised Person (SAP), which has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of high voltage systems. Although our base is in the East of England, we are committed to serving clients across wider regions, as our industry expertise allows us to manage all distances for work-related travel. Our services include O&M maintenance from LV to HV (up to 33kV) in compliance with HSG230 standards. This encompasses maintenance on various types of insulated switchgear, detailed post-fault maintenance and investigation work, as well as servicing oil and air-cooled transformers. We also handle the installation and replacement of transformers and switchgear, though please note that our services do not extend to cable termination or jointing. My SAP responsibilities, which include emergency call outs, cable testing, and fault location, are conducted up to 33kV. Having 18 years of experience in the O&M maintenance field, including 8 years as an HV fitter and the last decade as an SAP/HV fitter, I am well-equipped to manage diverse maintenance tasks.
